Tracy serves as a Senior Director in the Mass General Brigham Innovation office, supporting the teams responsible for the growth, strategy and roadmap for business development, venture, and licensing activities. His background includes more than 25 years of experience as an attorney and business leader, helping early-stage technology companies move from R&D activities, into commercial launch and scale-up, and then on to a successful exit. At Mass General Brigham, Tracy also serves as Senior Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel where he provides legal guidance for academic-industry collaborations formed to advance critical healthcare solutions. Prior to joining Mass General Brigham, Tracy served in executive leadership roles such as General Counsel, Executive Vice President, Interim CEO, and Board member with a series of start-up companies. Before moving in-house, Tracy was an equity partner with a national law firm, where his practice focused on intellectual property, commercial transactions and disputes, and regulatory matters. He holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and a B.A. in economics from the University of Wisconsin.
