Luann serves as Associate Director of Intellectual Property in the Mass General Brigham Innovation office, supporting the triage and management of the patent portfolios for Partner-affiliated hospitals and medical centers. Her background includes more than 30 years of experience as a patent attorney assisting biotech companies in the protection of their intellectual property. She has experience as in-house patent counsel, was counsel with a national law firm, and was the Director of IP in the technology transfer office at a major ivy league university. She received her B.S. from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from University of California Hastings College of Law.
