John is responsible for evaluating, protecting, and commercializing innovations arising from the Mass General Cancer Center.
John holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Wake Forest University, where he completed his dissertation research at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. Before joining Mass General Brigham Innovation, John founded and led a startup company for four years and spent another four years in technology commercialization, most recently at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
