Brigham Ignite celebrated its first 11 award recipients at a special event at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on October 20, 2022. Brigham Ignite is the special funding and advisory opportunity exclusively for Brigham and Women’s Hospital innovators. The early-stage innovation acceleration program advances discoveries with clinical and commercial potential by guiding researchers through the development process. Presenting certificates to the awardees were Brigham and Women’s Hospital President Robert Higgins, MD; Paul Anderson, MD, PhD, Senior Vice President of Research and Education and Chief Academic Officer; Chris Coburn, Chief Innovation Officer, Mass General Brigham; and Erin McKenna, Program Director for Brigham Ignite.
